Henllys Hall 18/06/26

We had a great concert at Henllys Hall on the 18th of June, singing to a full room of HPB Guests who were very appreciative all night.

Iwan was musical director with Elis accompanying on the piano, our guest soloist  was Elin Mai Williams. and the concert presenter for the evening was Aled Buckley from the Baritone section.

Dewi Peilot brought along 3 lady pilots from RAF Valley on the night, 2 from South Africa and 1 from Belgium. It was nice to be able to sing "African Prayer" in front of them and to also to explain the links between Menai Bridge and Belgium going back to the First World War which resonate so wonderfully in Llion Jones' words in our very own song "Hon Yw'r Gân".

Further to the concert there was another "unofficial" concert held at the Bull in Beaumaris afterwards to a much different audience!!!
